The first automotive course provided in te reo influenced by Kura kaupapa raukura
Ara is offering the first mechanics course to be taught in Māori, made possible by a kura kid who stood up for their native language. This has triggered the invention of a Māori vocabulary for automotive engineering, which is highkey amazing. If this is not a tohu for you reo speakers and kura kids out there to hit up your institutions to provide your courses in te reo, I don’t know what is!
